Six women had to be rescued from a lift at the Mecca Bingo in Huddersfield last night.
The lift at the club in St Thomas’ Road, Folly Hall, broke down trapping the women inside at just after 9pm.
Firefighters from Huddersfield were sent out as one of the women became distressed and claustrophobic.
Fire crews prised open the doors and released the women. No one was hurt.
