TWO Kirklees workers had a special look inside 10 Downing Street.

Joe Clapperton and Pc Howard Fanning attended a reception with Tony Blair for people who have made a difference to their community.

They were invited by Colne Valley MP Kali Mountford, who also treated them to lunch and a tour of the Commons.

Mr Clapperton is known in the Colne Valley for his work in bringing music to young people.

Pc Fanning has helped schools and youth organisations during his work in preventing crime.

Ms Mountford said: "When the Prime Minister asked me to invite two people who had made a difference to the community they sprang to mind."
