A MAN is still critically ill in hospital after being stabbed in the chest at his Dewsbury home.
A police probe into the attack on the 35-year-old is continuing.
The man was found collapsed in the street at 3.25pm on Wednesday.
He had staggered to Overthorpe Sports Club after allegedly being attacked by two men at his home in Ings Crescent, Thornhill.
He was bleeding heavily and asked for an ambulance before collapsing.
Two workmen at the club cut off his T-shirt to stem the bleeding until an ambulance arrived.
He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with critical injuries.
A 33-year-old man being questioned by police yesterday has been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
Police arrested a second man in connection with the attack yesterday.
He was still being detained for further questioning today.
