STAFF from a Huddersfield supermarket completed a sponsored walk to raise money for Macmillan cancer nurses.

Twelve workers from Somerfield on Scar Lane, Milnsbridge walked nine miles to the store from the Great Western pub at Stand-edge. They were joined by six children. All are pictured here.

The walk was the latest in a series of events for Macmillan, which is Somerfield’s chosen charity for 2007. Staff have held charity events in and outside work, including a curry night and tombola. (zzhud161007walk)
