A JAZZ and blues festival's organisers say they have a tremendous line-up planned for this year.

The Head of Steam pub in Huddersfield's St George's Square hosts the Huddersfield Jazz Festival every March.

This year's festival runs from Sunday, March 26 to Thursday, March 30.

The line-up features British musicians Roy Williams, Bruce Adams and Alan Barnes, who have played at the pub before and are leaders in their fields of trombone, trumpet and saxophone.

Admission is free and music-lovers should get there early.

The celebrations kick off on March 26 at 12.30pm with trombonist Roy Williams, then re-start at 8.30pm.
