YOBS have stoned a Mirfield family out of their home - just days after police said they were clamping down on troublesome youths in the area.
Five youths are alleged to have thrown stones through every window at the home on the London Park Estate while a family - including a 10-month-old girl and a boy of three - were inside.
The children and their parents were badly shocked, but unhurt.
The family had to leave the house on Northway Gardens while urgent repairs were made.
Five youths, all in their early to mid-teens, were arrested in connection with the incident.
They were released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
The news of the attack on the house - at 8.50pm on January 7 - comes after police said some youths causing problems on the estate had ignored Anti-Social Behaviour Orders imposed by youth courts.
Some had since been put in custody.
Police are carrying out covert operations and high-visibility patrols to catch other yobs and to reassure residents.
Pc Rob Winslade, of Dewsbury police, said: "We need people who see crimes or anti-social behaviour to talk to us.
"Please get in touch if you know anything about this so that appropriate action can be taken."
