A CORONATION STREET star's adventures in Huddersfield will be featured on TV this Sunday.

Martin Hancock, better known as the soap's eco-warrior Spider Nugent, spent a day in the town being filmed for Sky One.

The results will be screened in Soap Stars Behaving Badly on the cable and satellite channel this Sunday at 9pm.

The show will be repeated on Tuesday March 12 at 10pm.

Martin took Christmas shoppers by surprise on December 21 as he browsed in shops, accompanied by a London Weekend Television film crew.

Dressed in a casual top and jeans he strolled through The Packhorse Centre and into Boots, BHS and Queensgate Market.

The idea was to capture people's reactions as they recognised him as Emily Bishop's marajuana-smoking nephew.

He was in Coronation Street for three years, returning for a week in November to try to woo back his ex-girlfriend Toyah Battersby.

Martin, now pursuing a film career, was still on camera when he made personal appearances in Huddersfield's nightspots later that day.
