A SECOND award for excellence has gone to a Huddersfield Technical College engineering student in the same year.

Graham Wright, a student on the computer aided engineering course, has been awarded a Worshipful Company of Tin Plate Workers' Prize.

The 44-year-old collected his £125 prize at a Medals for Excellence Lion Awards Dinner in London.

Each year the Tin Plate Workers' Company, a City of London livery company, awards four prizes to outstanding engineering students.

Graham, of Oakes, recently received a City and Guilds Highly Commended Award for his outstanding performance in engineering.
