Three hairdressers who were made redundant within an hour of each other have set up their own salon.
And one of their first marketing ideas is to make Huddersfield nightlife a more stylish affair.
Paul Plant, 22, Simon Walker, 20, and Deon Hunter, 21, who now run 3 Degrees in St Peter's Street, plan to offer a night out special.
Customers are invited to arrive at the salon in their glad rags, when the hairdressers will provide a half-bottle of wine and a blow-dry, to make a night on the town a real head-turner.
The three have been friends for a number of years as they had all trained at Mark Riley's salon when they were 16 and decided to get together again.
"We've been open for three weeks and business has been brilliant," said Paul.
