THERE was a great start for St Joseph’s Touch Rugby League project, with 32 people attending to kick-off the event.
Supported by Huddersfield Giants Community Trust, the event runs every Friday evening throughout the summer at Fartown Rugby Ground and is becoming a popular activity in the Huddersfield sporting calendar.
Community Trust Development Officer Danny Scott said: “It’s great to see people engaging in Touch Rugby League at St Josephs. The programme they have been running year on year keeps growing and gives adults the opportunity to play early evening in a really social environment”.
