ARMED police tasered a man thought to be carrying a gun in Scissett last night.
The 48-year-old man, believed to be from the area, was tasered and arrested on Sunnymead at around 8pm.
A nearby house was later searched. Police have confirmed that several replica weapons were recovered.
The man continues to be held in police custody today as investigations continue.
