THREE youngsters from the same dancing school are among the top 300 in the country.
The best 300 out of 4,000 who took International Dancing Teachers Association exams last year have been invited to special dancing sessions where they can win scholarships which will provide money for their dancing careers.
Rachel O'Hare, Caroline Lee and Charlotte Paxman have all won through from the Adele Taylor School of Dance in Huddersfield town centre.
They have been invited to Manchester to dance in front of a panel of judges.
The scholarships are spread over the next two Sundays.
The best ones in each class and each age group will win scholarships to pay for dancing lessons.
All are in grade four or above and most are aged 11 to 18.
Those who just miss out receive special commendations.
Adele said: "It is unusual to have three students from one dancing school invited to the scholarships. All have got high marks to get there.
"They will be judged by a panel including a celebrity, but we don't know who that will be until the day."
Rachel, 15, of Birkby, and Charlotte, 16, of Honley, will both be doing modern dance.
Caroline, 15, of Marsden, will be doing ballet.
