A TEENAGER who does a lot of great community work in Huddersfield has met the Prime Minister.

Huddersfield MP Barry Sheerman introduced A-level student Leticia Amos to Mr Brown at Number 10.

The Prime Minister was holding a reception to honour young people from across the UK who have contributed positively to their local communities.

Mr Sheerman invited Leticia to thank her for all her hard work involving youth services in Huddersfield.

Leticia, from Deighton, is a student at Greenhead College and a member of Huddersfield North Youth Forum.

Mr Sheerman said: “Leticia is an amazing young woman who has dedicated so much of her time towards improving services for young people in Huddersfield. I was delighted to be with her to see her get the recognition she so richly deserves.’’
