FOUR Huddersfield teenagers are celebrating after winning prizes in a street art competition.

The event was hosted by Huddersfield Connexions Centre, where the winning entries will be shown.

The winner of the competition was Ni Paxton (second right). Other prizes were given to (from left) Dane Myers, Stacey Crawford and Joanne Crawford.

Stacey, who studies art at college, said: "It was really fun and I learnt a lot about spray painting and art that I probably wouldn't have been taught at college.

All the entrants were supported by local artist Matt Hards.

They met at the Radiant Works, King's Mill Lane, Aspley, for three weeks to learn about using spray paints as an alternative art form and how they can be used creatively, safely and legally.
