AN HORRIFIC attack on an Almondbury woman has brought a renewed call for help from police.

Sarah Swift was brutally attacked by a gang of thugs while walking home from the shops near her home on Monday.

She was knocked to the ground and kicked in the face several times, suffering a fractured cheekbone, broken arm and a badly bruised face and knees.

The Examiner published a photograph of 27-year-old Sarah yesterday showing her appalling injuries.

Police urged parents of youngsters in Almondbury to quiz their children and urged them to come forward with any information.

Sgt Tim O'Sullivan, of Huddersfield police, today renewed his appeal for help.

Anyone with information should contact the Huddersfield police helpdesk on 01484 436659.
