A CHARITY is asking tea lovers to brew up.
ChildLine Yorkshire and North-East wants people to hold a tea party on Thursday, June 10, as part of its Time for Tea appeal.
It runs a free counselling and advice helpline for children and young people in the region.
It is part of the national ChildLine charity, which also has a countrywide 24-hour helpline run from London.
Time for Tea events are being held across the UK in places including offices, churches and schools.
The cash raised in Yorkshire and North-East will train more volunteers to operate regional helplines.
More than 500 children call the regional ChildLine every day.
But only 300 have calls answered because of a lack of operators.
