A THIEF robbed a teenager for his bike – but left his own bike behind at the crime scene.

The 14-year-old was riding his bike with a friend when he was approached by two cyclists outside a shop on Bradford Road, Brighouse at 4pm on Saturday.

The teen rode off but the cyclists followed him and one of them pushed him off his bike.

The offender then took the victim’s bike – a black and orange GB 21 speed mountain bike – and left his own purple mountain bike.

The bike was taken on Waterloo Road and the offender rode off in the direction of Bradford Road.

Police are looking for a white man aged in his late teens. He was about 6ft, thin and had acne on his face and brown hair in a Mohican style.

He was wearing dark coloured tracksuit bottoms.

He was with a boy of about 15, 5ft 7ins, with dark, short flat hair and was wearing a dark coloured waist-length jacket. He was riding a black mountain bike.
