It was attacked near the Mamas and Papas factory and outlet store in Colne Bridge Road.

Thieves slashed the side of the lorry when it was parked in the early hours of yesterday morning near the retail store.

They made off with 35 Siesta high chairs, a product which retails on the company’s website at £199.00.

Officers are urging people not to buy the high chairs if approached by anyone selling the items but to contact police.
