TWO men had their mobile phones and wallets stolen when armed robbers raided their car in Marsh.

The victims had parked in Westbourne Road to go for a takeaway at 9pm on Monday.

But as the 22-year-old driver and his passenger, aged 20, stopped the car two men jumped in the back and demanded they drove off.

A short distance later the driver, who had his ear cut by a knife in the attack, was told to stop.

The man behind the passenger, who is thought to have been carrying a small handgun, told the victims to hand over their money and phones.

The first suspect was described as a light- skinned, mixed-race man, in his early 20s. He was wearing a baseball cap and a dark tracksuit.

The other was described as Afro- Carib- bean, around 6ft tall, in his early 20s and wearing a baseball cap.
