A THIRD man has been arrested by police investigating a pub shooting.

Police sealed off part of Deighton when they made the arrest at 2.40pm on Wednesday.

The man in his 20s was taken for questioning.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and released on bail.

The man has been charged with escaping from lawful custody and returned to custody.

He is technically on bail for the shooting.

He is being questioned about the shooting at the Marsh House in Marsh at 9.30pm on Sunday, September 24.

The victim was a 22-year-old soldier.

He was shot in the pelvis and the bullet passed through him.

The other two arrested are aged 22 and 25 and are on police bail.
