Thousands had fun in the sun at a Huddersfield park.
They packed into Ravensknowle Park for the 88th Ravensknowle Gala, which again featured a host of attractions.
Fairground rides and stalls proved a huge draw for the crowds and there were also a host of entertainers including Punch and Judy, compere Magic Mike, circus performers Fools Rush in, comedy tightrope walker Bernie Bennett and the Elite Cheerleaders.
A procession around the park featuring Gala Queen Chloe Steadman, 12, was led by Meltham and Meltham Mills Brass Band.
Gala spokesman David Smith said; “It was a brilliant day. We had worries with showers forecast for the morning but they never materialised and by 1pm as we started the procession the sun shone through and never stopped.
“There were lots of people and lots of events for them all”.
