THREE men have been remanded in custody charged with conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the raid in which Pc Sharon Beshenivsky was shot dead.

Raza Haq Aslam, 24, Faisal Razzaq, 24, and Hassan Razzaq, 25, were charged in connection with the incident at the Universal Express travel agency in Bradford on November 18.

Pc Beshenivsky, 38, was killed as she responded to an alarm call at the premises. Her colleague, Pc Teresa Milburn, of Birstall, was injured.

Hundreds of officers lined the streets of Bradford for Pc Beshenivsky's funeral last month.

Aslam, of Kentish Town, north London, Hassan Razzaq, of Forest Gate, east London, and his brother Faisal, also of Forest Gate, were all remanded in custody at Leeds Crown Court yesterday.

They are due to appear again for a hearing on March 22.

Yusuf Jama, 19, of North Kensington, London, and Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 24, of no fixed address, have already been charged with murder and are awaiting trial in June.

Detectives are continuing to search for 25-year-old Mustaf Jama.
