Three motorbikes stolen from Huddersfield within 24 hours - Can you help police trace them?

Owners plea for help in tracing the three motorbikes stolen in Birkby and Dalton

Three highly distinctive motorbikes have been stolen.

Two bikes have been stolen from a garage in Dalton while another was taken from Birkby.

Yvonne Lock, of Dalton, said two Enduro bikes were stolen overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday from a garage on Harwood Close, off Greenhead Lane.

Yvonne, whose family owns the bikes, is offering a reward for their return and said: “We think they were taken in the early hours of Wednesday.

“They are quite distinctive Enduro bikes which are suitable for on and off-road.

“One has a unique headlight and the other had lots of unique stickers on it.”

The registration numbers are YN07 HBC and CU07 DXB and they are Suzuki Drz 400 models.

While Mike Kay’s Kawasaki ZX-7R superbike was stolen from the Birkby area.

Mike said: “I’ve had it a year and a friend owned it before me, it’s been a labour of love for 10 years.

“It’s a one-off bike, it’s custom-built and even the exhaust is unique.”

The blue and silver bike has a registration number of P902 BPA.

It’s believed it may have been taken towards the Deighton area.

Anyone with information leading to the bikes or the identity of the thieves is asked to call Huddersfield police on 101.
