DAREDEVILS are being urged to help a Huddersfield cancer charity.
Thrillseekers are needed by the Laura Crane Trust for a fund- raising abseil in June.
Volunteers will go down the 170ft walls at Baitings reservoir, near Ripponden.
As well as an abseil, adventurous souls will also be able to fly down on a 600ft zip wire.
The trust, of which Huddersfield actress Zoe Lucker is a patron, is the only UK charity paying for research into cancers among young people.
It was founded by Jacquie Roeder, the trust's voluntary manager, in memory of her daughter, Laura, who died aged 17 from a complex combination of cancers.
The reservoir fundraising event, to mark the charity's 10th anniversary, is on June 24 and 25.
Spokeswoman Pam Thornes said: "We can guarantee this is one experience you are unlikely to forget."
A £10 registration fee is needed for each abseiler or £10 for the zip wire, with minimum donations of £100 on the day.
The challenge is suitable for all ages, but has an 18-stone weight limit.
Training will be given on the day.
