A TAXI driver was attacked by a passenger who argued about the fare and then thumped him.
The 30-year-old victim picked up three men and a woman from Stoney Lane in Honley and took them to Station Street in Meltham at 10.20pm on Saturday.
They began to argue about the fare and a man sitting in the back hit the driver on the back of the head.
The four people then walked away.
The attacker is white, aged about 22, 5ft 10in and slim with a shaved head and a silver ring through his left eyebrow. He wore a cream jacket.
