Police have made a new appeal for witnesses following a robbery at a house in Dewsbury Moor.

The victim was 29-year-old man who was attacked in a house in School Crescent last week.

The incident happened in the early horus of Friday, July 24, when two men entered the house and made demands for property from the lone male occupant. One of the men hit the victim in the head, before the two men have stolen two mobile phones and left the address.

The first man is described as white, aged between 30 and 35, around 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky/muscular build, with short, neat blond hair which appeared freshly cut and styled in to a side parting.

The second man is described as being tanned or mixed race, aged between 25 and 30, around 6ft tall, of slim build. He was wearing a dark zip-up hooded top with the hood up and pulled tight around his face.

Det Con Richard Brooke said: “This incident is being treated as a targeted attack; however as part of our ongoing enquiries we are seeking the public’s help in identifying the two men responsible.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who saw men matching the suspects’ descriptions in the School Crescent area of Dewsbury Moor around the time of the offence. Anyone with information which could help our enquiries is asked to call Kirklees Robbery Team on 101.”
