A MAN was overpowered and robbed by three attackers.

The 21-year-old was walking along a snicket between Bradley Road and Park Lea in Bradley, carrying a laptop computer in a case, at 4.20pm on Sunday.

Three men coming the other way stopped him.

One grabbed the laptop and tried to pull it from the victim's grasp.

The man clung on at first, but was put in a headlock and then struck in the back, forcing him to the ground.

The thieves ran off with the £1,100 Toshiba machine.

The victim tried to follow, but they quickly disappeared.

One of the robbers is white, aged 19 or 20 and 5ft 10in tall.

He wore a red and white quilted jacket and a white baseball cap with a small mark on the right-hand side.

The second is African- Caribbean, with braids pulled back across his head from front to back.

He is 6ft tall and slim. He wore a grey jumper with a circular logo on the front and a gold chain round his right wrist.

The third attacker is also African-Caribbean.

He is about 20, 5ft 10in tall and stocky, with short hair. He wore a black, sleeveless basketball-type shirt.

A police spokesman said: "The descriptions of the attackers are good, so there must be someone in the Bradley area who knows who they are."
