A CAMPAIGN is under way to find the biggest road pothole in the Colne Valley constituency.
The Spot The Pot campaign is being spearheaded by Conservative parliamentary candidate Maggie Throup, with launches in Holmfirth, Meltham, Honley and Marsden.
Ms Throup said: "Time and time again residents have brought up potholes as a local issue that really bothers them.
"Anyone driving around will know exactly what I mean."
She wants people to send photos of the biggest potholes to maggie@maggiethroup.com
Ms Throup added: "We have already had two quite serious incidents caused by potholes reported to us.
"One was of a lady falling and the second was of a car skidding as a result of hitting a pothole."
Ms Throup says she will pass the evidence to Kirklees Council's Highways Department.
