FOOTBALL is for everyone – that’s the message from staff and players at Town.

And the club wants to encourage people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to support the Terriers.

Town are backing the Football League’s ‘One Game, One Community’ week of action to promote inclusion in the game.

Town’s next home match against Wolves on Saturday October 20 has been dedicated to the campaign.

Town are holding a series of activities, which started with a ‘disability and art’ session at The Zone in St Andrew’s Road, Huddersfield.

Town’s club captain Peter Clarke and winger Sean Scannell will be the club’s One Game, One Community ambassadors.

Also at the Zone from today Town plan to promote the club’s ladies’ football team, put the spotlight on Town’s first black player Willie Watson and feature deaf footballer Matt Crooks.
