TOWN fans have until Sunday to prove they are Yorkshire's most generous football supporters.

Town fans are competing against Middlesborough fans in an appeal called the Send Shirts to Skopje Cup.

The appeal is being run by the Yorkshire Building Society.

The winner of the cup will be the team whose fans have donated the most shirts to the appeal, which was launched last December.

The Yorkshire winner will then compete against the winner from Scotland.

The shirts are sent to Skopje, the capital of Macedonia.

Skopje is twinned with Bradford, where the Yorkshire Building Society is based.

Shirts will go to the poorest villages in Skopje, which suffer from severe poverty and high unemployment.

Shirts can be handed in to any branch of Yorkshire Building Society or can be sent to Send Shirts to Skopje at Catapult PR, 19a-20a Marsh Mill Village, Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire, FY5 4JZ.

The deadline for donations is 5pm on May 16.
