SOCCER player Efe Sodje is almost as famous for his headgear as for his performances with Huddersfield Town.

So it was no surprise when students at Rastrick High School asked him to judge their work after making a range of bandanas on a design course.

Town captain Efe is pictured with the youngsters, who are now in year 10 at the school.

About 20 pupils spent last year using the latest computer technology to make the fabric designs.

Jackie Ward, head of design at the school, said: "They created their own fabric design and we planned to print them and we came up with the idea of a bandana.

"They then invited Efe to the school to look at their work and were delighted when he agreed. He was very impressed with all of them.

"The students asked him to sign the bandanas, which he did."
