THEY took to the roads in style.
Some 120 tractors from across the country turned up in Shepley yesterday for the annual fun day in aid of charity and made for a great sight on the country lanes south of Huddersfield.

Last year’s Pennine Charity Tractor Run had to be postponed thanks to the soggy conditions but this year the weather was merely overcast and dull.
They set off from Marsh Farm in Shepley ambling along country roads to the halfway point at Wortley Forge.
Organiser Howard Crawshaw said: “The tractor that has come from furthest away is one from Somerset. I have been organising this event for six years and I think it started life around 12 years ago.
“They are vintage tractors and many of them are anything up to 60 years old.
“As well as averaging about £3,000 for charity it is a very enjoyable day out for everyone. There are fairground rides and a car boot sale.”
Money raised is in support of the MS Society and Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team.
