HOLMFIRTH artist Ashley Jackson has unveiled his latest work – a train.

The 70-year-old has been honoured with a train named The Yorkshire Artist, run by the Grand Central company.

And examples of his art feature on panels inside the train, which will run between West Yorkshire and London.

Ashley, pictured, unveiled the new train at Bradford railway station.

He said: “This is a fantastic day for art, Yorkshire and the country as it opens up a new exhibition space that allows us to have artistic experiences within the confines of our working day.”
