HELP and advice about education and training is now available in the farthest-flung reaches of Kirklees, thanks to a new mobile information service.
The project, commissioned by Kirklees Economic Development Service, was given £262,280 by regional development agency Yorkshire Forward.
The Drive-Inforward bus is packed with leaflets and brochures as well as experienced staff to help with lifelong learning.
On-board facilities include a training and meeting area complete with televisions, computers and a video, a confidential interview room and a kitchen.
"We are very excited about this new project which quite literally delivers information and services directly to Kirklees residents," said Clr Andrew Pinnock, Cabinet member with responsibility for regeneration.
"Often those people who need information and support the most can be the ones who find it the hardest to get in touch with us."
The vehicle can be found in Chickenley on Tuesday mornings, Earlsheaton on Tuesday afternoons, Mirfield's London Park Estate on Wednesdays, the Colne Valley on Thursdays and Batley all day Friday.
