HOLME Valley residents are being asked for their views on plans for developing transport in the area.
Kirklees Council wants feedback on the first phase of the new Local Development Framework for the Holme Valley North.
This will replace the Unitary Development Plan and will dictate how future decisions on planning and transport are made.
Holme Valley North Area Committee will discuss the LDF at a meeting at 7pm on December 7 at Meltham Civic Hall. The public are welcome.
Plans to create more `one stop shops' will also be discussed at the meeting.
These currently operate at Birstall and Skelmanthorpe Libraries and provide a central point for information gathering.
Area Committee Chair, Clr Mike Bower, said: "I'm very pleased that officers have been able to come up with a proposal which responds to local needs and views."
