Travellers have once again returned to a business park in Bradley.

A dozen caravans and vans arrived on a car park belonging to Motor World on Pennine Business Park over the weekend.

The travellers had moved a concrete barrier to gain access to the site, which yesterday still lay in the road opposite.

Some of their children could be seen playing on skateboards next to the caravans.

They have pitched up on the site, formerly the home of Bury-based Motor World’s head office, several times over the last couple of years.

Last time they arrived the company, still believed to own the site, sought legal advice on moving them on.

Two months ago Huddersfield YMCA revealed that it spent almost £3,000 moving travellers from its site and cleaning up after them.

They left the football pitch at the Salendine Nook site damaged after pitching up in its car park for the second time in 12 months.
