FOUR men and a teenager face a trial on charges arising from last summer’s riots.
Patrick English, 20, and Aiden John English, 18, both of Willow Lane East, Hillhouse, appeared at Leeds Crown Court along with James Martin McDonagh, 21, of Scott Vale, Sheepridge, Dale Anthony Field, 23, of Tudor Street, Slaithwaite, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons.
They have denied various charges relating to arson, criminal damage and burglary during riots in Huddersfield on August 10 last year.
Bail was granted and the case was adjourned. A trial date was set for September 17.
