THE family of a woman killed in a crash at Elland have paid her a moving tribute.

Lisa Walton, 23, said her mother Tina had been a wonderful woman.

"She was bubbly and full of life and love.

"I feel robbed of a mother I was just getting to know better.

"And it breaks my heart that my daughter Skye will never remember her grandmother."

Miss Walton, 37, died when the motorcycle on which she was a passenger hit a crash barrier in Calderdale Way, between Ainley Top and Elland.

The 28-year-old rider escaped serious injury.

Miss Walton had been living in Portland House, Elland, with her partner and three children, twins Carl and Ryan, 13, and eight-year-old Toni.

The children are now living with their father, who was Mrs Walton's boyfriend in a previous relationship.

She worked at the Travellers Rest in Elland.

Her daughter, Lisa, said: "She was over the moon when I gave birth to Skye.

"It was as if she had been given a second chance of watching another girl grow up.

"I was brought up by my grandmother, Sandra."

Mrs Sandra Walton, 52, said: "As a family we were just beginning to build bridges.

"Tina's death has devastated us all.

"She had a heart of gold and we are traumatised that we have lost her so young".

A funeral service was held at Park Road Crematorium, Elland.
