CHRISTIANS in Huddersfield will travel the world on Friday - without leaving Huddersfield Parish Church.
Their "journey" between 6pm and 9pm will mark One World Week in the town.
Visitors will be transported with the help of drama, food and music to help them understand what life is like for Christians around the world.
One of the event organisers, the Vicar of Huddersfield, the Rev Catherine Ogle, said: "The idea is that we'll be led into a deeper understanding of what `home' means for other people."
Christian groups including Feed The Minds, the Mothers' Union, the Bible Society and the local One World Group are leading the event.
The theme of One World Week is Moving Stories and those taking part will journey through Asia, South America, Africa and the UK learning about life in different parts of the world.
The evening ends with a short service and the opportunity to give thanks for homes and to pray for people who are less fortunate.
