Members of Huddersfield French Circle visited the Children's House Montessori Nursery School in Meltham. Its director, Claire Doree- Pritchard, talked about the school and showed them round. Mrs Doree-Pritchard, a former French teacher, described in French the work of Dr Maria Montessori, who developed her method of educating children according to their individual aptitudes at their own pace.
