A COUPLE had a DIY disaster when their oven caught fire.
The Rastrick couple were decorating their home on Easter Monday and fancied a quick bite to eat.
They put some potatoes in the oven but unfortunately left an oven glove inside as well.
Firefighters from Brighouse were called to the house in Scholey Road after the oven caught fire just after 7pm.
The kitchen was badly smoke damaged but no one was injured.
