POLICE are guarding a Milnsbridge house as part of the investigation into the death of Sabira Alam.

The house on New Street is the centre point of the police search for clues into the 20-year-old’s death.

Neighbours said a single police car was seen at the New Street house late on Sunday but shortly later a police van and more cars arrived.

On Monday police scenes of crime officers conducted a house and garden search.

A police guard remained there this morning and the house and gardens remained sealed off with police tape.

More details have since emerged of Sabira's death.

Sabira, of Vernon Avenue, Greenhead was last seen on Wednesday, April 1 and she was reported missing on Friday.

But on Sunday morning a hang-glider spotted her body on moorland near Buckstones.
