TEENAGE comic Jack Carroll was last night hoping to make the finals of Britain’s Got Talent.

The Calderdale youngster was among the semi-final acts hoping for a place in the final of the TV talent show.

Jack, 14, who has cerebral palsy, was already delighted to be one of the 45 through to the semi-final stage.

The show judges, led by Simon Cowell, had whittled down 200 from the auditions to 45 and those will all appear on shows this week to try to win a place in the final.

Hipperholme teenager Jack, who is a student at Brighouse High School, has already enjoyed a big slice of fame.

He was invited by Manchester comedian Jason Manford to a comedy workshop at the University of Salford.

And he also got to appear on several TV shows following his success in the auditions.

Jack’s comedic talents came to light when his five-minute set at parents Sue and Matt’s wedding anniversary got 10,000 hits on YouTube.
