Greece Twin earthquakes of preliminary magnitudes of 5.4 and 5.5 rattled the western Greek port of Patras. There were no reports of injuries or damage. The Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics said the first quake occurred at 10.25pm (8.25pm GMT) about 95 miles south west of Athens, and about 25 miles outside Patras. The second occurred at 12.15am (10.15pm GMT), in the same area.
