Two men have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a teenager in Marsh.

The attack happened at 6.07pm on Monday night when the 15-year-old boy was stabbed in New Hey Road.

He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged and is recovering at home.

Police have arrested an 18-year-old and 19-year-old following the incident and both men remain in custody.
