TWO men who were held in connection with gunfire on the streets of Crosland Moor have appeared in court.

Christopher Boltwood, 26, who lives at Roundway, Honley, and 29-year-old Joel Liburd, from Walpole Road, Crosland Moor, both appeared in the dock at Bradford Crown Court yesterday.

Boltwood is charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Liburd is accused of possessing an offensive weapon and affray.

They were detained following reports of gunfire on Gilbert Grove on Tuesday, May 10.

Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC remanded both men in custody until a plea and case management hearing is heard on August 12.

A provisional trial date has been set for their case in the week commencing September 5.
