A CAR was badly damaged after it crashed on Huddersfield ring road.
The silver Subaru Impreza smashed into railings on Southgate near to the Tesco supermarket at 11pm last night.
The driver managed to get out with a slight head injury.
Firefighters from Slaithwaite, Brighouse and Elland cut the car door off so that paramedics could rescue the passenger, who had suffered a back injury.
