TWENTY new jobs are being created in an expansion by Huddersfield firm AMC Accident Management.
AMC, based in St Andrew's Road, manages all aspects of vehicle accidents from recovery, repair, insurance and legal issues.
It is expanding its managed fleet to 90,000 vehicles and hopes to enlarge the workforce by 20 new staff, who will be spread across the firm's departments.
Jobs will be available for call centre agents responsible for driver contact, engineers who manage sophisticated digital imaging technology and estimating systems to assess vehicle damage, customer services and administrative staff.
Chief executive Nick Brown said: "This is an exciting time in the growth and development of AMC.
"A key element of our continued success is the skill, commitment and attitude of our staff throughout the business. We're looking to attract people with ambition who want to be part of a professional team."
AMC hope the expansion will add around 500 new customers and put the company in the top three of the country's fleet vehicle incident management firms.
It is just the latest event in a record year for AMC.
It has secured a string of corporate contracts with large firms including, Mothercare, Oracle, Xerox, Oddbins, Proctor and Gamble and last year's Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
AMC has also developed a new on-line claim-tracking system which allows customers and staff immediate incident analysis, including cause and circumstances, status of repairs and costs.
It also has digital imaging to allows fleet managers to view accident damage.
