A YOUNG man was badly hurt in a hit-and-run accident in Huddersfield.
The 21-year-old was struck by the car on Brownroyd Avenue, Rawthorpe, close to its junction with Nether Crescent, at 9pm on Tuesday night.
He was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary with a broken ankle and broken wrist.
Police want anyone who saw what happened or has any information about the car or its driver to come forward.
