NEW plans have been submitted to Kirklees Council for the site of an Almondbury manor house.
Miller Brook Properties want to build 12 houses and four flats and change Thorpe Grange in Thorpe Lane from a restaurant into a home.
Last February plans were submitted to convert the building into luxury flats.
The plans also included building a three-storey block of nine two-bedroom flats and three luxury four-bedroom detached homes in the grounds.
These plans were withdrawn before reaching a planning committee.
This new application by the same developer will go before planners next month.
Thorpe Grange was owned by Kirklees Council more than 10 years ago and was used as a base for staff training.
It was sold and has recently been used as a restaurant.
Special consent is needed for the plans because Almondbury is a conservation area.
